Feed Your Eyes: Kevin McAllister aka Macaulay Caulkin in Home Alone 2: Lost In New York
I just watched Home Alone 2 for the billionth time and for the first time I few questions and comments about it that I’d like to share:
1. Why doesn’t the cop at the Florida police station arrest Kevin’s Mom, she’s horrible! Who loses their child twice?!
2. Why do they sleep at a Motel in Florida, I thought Mr. McCallister was loaded? I know Kevin took his credit and wallet but why wouldn’t the wife have any money on her? She’s surely not qualified to be a stay at home Mom. P.S. What does Mr. McCallister do for a living? I’d really like to know, wouldn’t you? They don’t mention his occupation in part one or two.
3. Did anyone else think that Susan Boyle was the pigeon lady when they first saw her singing like an angel on the X Factor? I did and still do…they look exactly the same.
4. Kevin promises the Roca-Fella Christmas tree that he would never leave his family again then the minute he’s reunited with his family he runs away to give a turtle dove to the pigeon lady who hugs him even though she’s still covered in bird shit.
No matter how many silly questions or comments I have Home Alone 2 will always be my favorite Christmas movie, nothing beats it.
Jay-Z via Rocawear is set to release a t-shirt that says Occupy All Streets and a Rocawear spokeswoman said “At this time, we have not made an official commitment to monetarily support the movement”.
Question: With no profits being donated towards OWS, Jay-Z is the epitome of the 1%. He’s profiting off of a civil rights movement that’s sensitive to so many of us, 99% of us. I don’t see any positivity behind this statement, Occupy All Streets fuels ignorance. Is Jay-Z trying to tell people that how he came up by hustling on the streets is the way to go? Or is he simply trying to tell the 99% to Occupy All Streets? If so how is he making the streets safe for people to occupy if he’s not donating any of the profits.
Jay-Z has no hopes for me, he can get off his throne, he ain’t my king.
